Pecan Tassies!

I FINALLY got this awesome recipe off my MIL!! She's had it for years and Dave grew up pigging out on them every Christmas..... my turn!!

Pecan Tassies 4 Dozen

SHELL
6 oz Cream Cheese -- room temp.
1 stick butter -- room temp.
2 Cups flour

Cream together cream cheese and butter, stir in flour make a ball of dough. Chill one hour then divide into 48 balls. Press dough into mini muffin pans covering sides. Fill with filling..

FILLING

2 Tablespoons Butter -- room temp.
1½ Cups brown sugar
1 tsp. salt (optional)
2 eggs
1¼ cup broken pecans

Mix all filling ingredients until well blended. Put about 1 tsp. pecan filling in each shell. Bake at 350° 13-16 minutes. Let pan cool between baking them.

Store covered tightly with saran wrap. These are awesome! Enjoy!! I've attached a picture of some I made just a few minutes ago!! You'll notice a few are missing already!
